SEGA 預計於 5 月底在家用主機 Xbox One 與 PlayStation 4 上推出遊戲合輯 SEGA Mega Drive Classics（另名：SEGA Genesis Classics），內容將收錄超過 50 款以上曾經出在 Mega Drive / Genesis 上面的經典 SEGA 遊戲，讓玩家們可以重溫當時遊戲的樂趣。同時 Steam 上面已經發售的版本，也將會一併更新。
本次合輯除了將遊戲的解析度調升之外，也將支援成就與線上多人對戰。另外，本作還包含了一些特有的模式，像是鏡像（Mirror）模式、以及重溫舊夢（Rewind）模式，讓玩家可以更真實地體驗到當時人們玩遊戲的場景。
